Wemyss Properties is a subsidiary of the Wemyss Group, a multi-disciplined family office with investments both domestic and international across multiple sectors.

The history of Wemyss Properties is a fascinating one and can be traced back as far as the fifteenth century. The company’s reputation for delivering high quality property was established in the early twentieth century with the award winning development of the village of Coaltown of Wemyss, which had close links to the world-famous Garden City Movement.

The Wemyss Family have a long history of owning and investing in property backed assets and at Wemyss Properties we are focused on owning and developing assets with strong fundamentals, quality design and a focus on ESG criteria which aligns with the family office ethos which is to invest not only for this generation but also the next.

Wemyss Properties have 3 investment strategies:

Investment – Owned outright long term to provide a strong balance sheet and reoccurring income profile.

Development – Both commercial and residential opportunities with a particular focus on complicated unconsented sites where we can add value by obtaining planning and developing out. We can do this on our own, with existing owners or JV partners.
