Work on our latest Glasgow project, the redevelopment of three townhouses in Newton Place, is moving ahead, with planning permission granted for the creation of six duplex apartments. It is expected that the building warrant for the scheme will be issued soon and that work will start in earnest in late Spring.

“We are very excited about this exclusive new development, which lies at the heart of the highly regarded Park district of the city,” says Managing Director, Matthew Atton. “We’ve had a lot of success renovating town houses in the surrounding area and we are looking forward to creating another collection of luxurious properties in what is one of the most sought-after locations in Glasgow.”

Newton Place is a beautiful tree-lined terrace in the Park area of Glasgow, close to Kelvingrove Park and within easy reach of the heart of the city.

The properties that Wemyss will be renovating were purchased off-market from Graham + Sibbald, one of the most respected firms of chartered surveyors in Scotland. Each of the three townhouses will be developed into luxury apartments and there will be a choice of two- and three-bedroom homes.

The grand dimensions and original architectural details of the original homes will be retained wherever possible, and the new properties will feature the highest levels of craftsmanship, fit and finish.
