Craigleith development moving ahead following planning permission success
The initial phase of work at our new Edinburgh development at Craigleith started in July, with the demolition of the site’s existing buildings. Construction of the new development itself is scheduled for November.
“Following a successful planning application, it is very satisfying to have begun this exciting new addition to our Edinburgh portfolio,” says Project Manager, Gareth Williams. “Alongside the demolition work, the building warrant for the development has also been submitted and the details of interior designs and finishes are currently being fine-tuned.”
The plans for the development involve the construction of eight high-quality homes that have been designed to reflect the architecture of the surrounding area.
“This is a sought after address,” Gareth adds. “It is within easy reach of the city centre, including Princess Street, and the green space of Edinburgh’s beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens. It puts all of the best things that the capital has to offer within easy reach.”
Among the other attractions that are close to the development are the Scottish Gallery of Modern Art, and Ravelston and Murrayfield Golf Clubs. The locality also has a good range of shops within easy reach and is close to leading schools, including Mary Erskine and Fettes College.
